Our New Alpine Thin Messenger – a bag inspired by the beautiful simplicity of an Old West saddlebag, a touch of the utilitarian, and a splash of sophistication. The New Alpine Thin Messenger features a simple strap closure, hand molded and stitched carry handle, sewn in internal divider, and a detachable carry strap. Other features: 12" x 6.5" front pocket, 10" x 6" pocket sewn to the divider as well as three loops for pens.
As with all White Buffalo Republic bags, every piece is cut, stitched, and assembled by hand.

Leather - Full grain, natural veg tanned, oil dyed. This is TOUGH leather. It will wear well and gain character with age. It will be "stiff" the day it arrives however, with time and wear, it will soften. 100% of stitching is HAND SEWN.
All of our bags are crafted from vegetable tanned, hand-dyed, full-grain leather. Any scars, scratches, veins, wrinkles and other anomalies are natural characteristics and unique to each item. We try to photograph any interesting marks or characteristics and disclose the same in our Etsy.com listings. All of our bags are made by hand. As such, there may be slight imperfections or flaws that add to the character and uniqueness of the item. Imperfections do not detract from the durability and quality of the item.
If we do not have an item in stock and you still wish to order an item, you will be placed on the list for the next available item. Please understand that we do not have the best communication methods between the office in Wyoming and the shop in Guatemala. (Look on the map - we are far, far away from one another). This means that we cannot provide you updates as to when your item will arrive. As a matter of fact, when I do manage to get the guys to answer, they become very agitated and tell me "it will be there when it gets there."
Generally speaking, new shipments arrive every 45-60 days. If you order an item that is not in the inventory, and you have really bad timing, you could wait up to 120 days to receive your order. This is why it is important that you CONTACT US TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY.
